Brief on the significance & history of St. Thomas :
St. Thomas was one of the twelve apostles of Jesus Christ. He is famously known as "Doubting Thomas" because he initially doubted the resurrection of Jesus. However, when Jesus appeared before him and invited him to touch his wounds, Thomas proclaimed, "My Lord and my God." St. Thomas is believed to have traveled to India to spread Christianity and established several churches in Kerala. He is the patron saint of India, and his feast day is celebrated on July 3rd. Many people turn to St. Thomas in times of doubt and pray to him for faith and courage.
