Brief on the significance & history of St. John :

St. John the Apostle was one of the twelve apostles of Jesus Christ and is considered one of the most important figures in early Christianity. He is also known as the "beloved disciple" of Jesus and was present at several important events in Jesus' life, such as the Last Supper and the Crucifixion. After Jesus' death, St. John spread the teachings of Christianity throughout Asia Minor and was eventually exiled to the island of Patmos, where he wrote the Book of Revelation. St. John is also believed to have written the Gospel of John and three epistles in the New Testament. He is the patron saint of love, loyalty, and friendships.
