The spies were to observe the land, but what they saw depended on their perspective. Ten of the spies focused on the giants and fortified cities, spreading fear among the Israelites. However, Joshua and Caleb saw the same land but responded with faith, declaring that if God was with them, they could take possession of it.

In our lives, we face challenges that test our faith. Do we focus on the obstacles, or do we trust in God’s promises? Numbers 13:18 reminds us that faith requires us to look beyond our fears and believe that God is bigger than any challenge.

4. Giants Are Big, But God is Bigger

Yes, there were giants in the land, but they were not bigger than God. Often, we see our problems as overwhelming, forgetting that we serve an all-powerful God. Numbers 13:18 challenges us to shift our perspective—are we seeing through human eyes, or are we trusting in God’s strength?
